How it works?You have something in your home or premises that needs fixing. You call us or create an instant booking online We will take payment card details to confirm the booking. If your job is large or complex, we will visit you and prepare a quote. If your job is more simple, we will come round and carry out the job. Our schedulers will estimate how long a visit you will need from the information you give and book a slot accordingly. The tradesman will arrive and show you his I.D. We’ll always reassess the job on arrival to see if more time will be required than originally estimated. When we begins the job, we make a note of the time. When the work is complete, we’ll provide you a job ticket telling you work is done with a detailed breakdown of the cost, which we will ask you to sign. We’ll take payment before leaving and a receipt will be emailed to you. In the unlikely event that the work is substandard, call the office and we will arrange for it to be remedied at no charge. You will be charged for each half hour you use, subject to a minimum of 1 hour for all jobs. We hope you become a happy customer.

Do I need a quote from you?If the job is relatively straightforward, you think it can be accomplish in X amount of hours and you like to create an Instant Booking, by all means go ahead and do so on our website. If however, your project is more complex and may required a number of set days to complete or you simply like to meet us in person and discuss more specific details on how you like the project to be done, please give us a call.

Will I be charged for a quote?No. Even if you create an Instant Booking online and made the credit card deposit, our protocol is to first meet at the property, assessed the time the project will take, present a verbal and hand written quote, and only then, at your approval, go ahead and complete the job, where at the end of the project & your satisfaction, a final bill will be presented for payment.

Why do you need my credit card details at the time of booking?We only use this information to secure the booking. You will not be charged a penny until the work is done. You are also free to use a different payment method if you wish at the end of the project.

Any tips for making the most of my booking?If you book online, or give us a call for a consultation over the phone, It’s often helpful to provide a photo of the job you need doing in order to help us assess the time it will take and what tools and materials will be required.

What if I don’t use up all the time I have booked?We also suggest that customers have a couple of little jobs in reserve in case the work is completed quickly and we could make the most out of the time left. Our bookings are subject to a one hour minimum, with increments of half hours thereafter. However, if you book, say, 2 hours and the work is completed in one hour, you will only be charged for one hour.

Do I have to provide my own materials?If you can, it will save you time and money. Otherwise, we are happy to source your materials but do charge a mark-up (Total cost of material + 25%). If the product you need to complete the project requires additional sourcing because it’s not readily available, an additional fee may apply, but rest assure, you will be aware of these additional cost before hand.

Will your tradesman turn up on time?We will book a two hour arrival window, so for example, we might say your tradesman will arrive between 10:30 and 12:30. We use this degree of flexibility to avoid disappointing our customers.

Should I feel safe letting your tradesman into my home?Absolutely. They all wear our uniform, carry I.D. They are all dedicated, skilled tradesmen and know that the customer is king!

What happens at the end of the job?The tradesman will show you the work ticket detailing what he has done, and any charges for materials (if any had to be purchase) If you agree on the total, you can sign the ticket and the tradesman will take payment. Our only and current form of payment is Zelle, Credit/debit or cash. You will then be sent a receipt by email.

What happens if I am not happy with the work you have done?Thankfully, this is a rare occurrence, but if it happens, you should call us up and let us know the problem. We will do everything we can to make sure you want to come back to us for your next job. On long or complex jobs, we mitigate disappointments by taking a pause for every step completed, have our customer go over the project, and sign an acknowledgment of satisfaction, or correction, before we move to the next phase.

What is your cancellation policy?We require 48 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, otherwise a late notice charge of $30 + Tx will apply. For bookings at either i) our fixed day rate or ii) scheduled for after 6pm or a Saturday, the charge is the total estimated value of the booking.
